Our Beginner Camps are designed for those who have NEVER been exposed to horses but would like to begin that adventure! With over ten years of experience in the summer camp field, we have created a camp that will allow the student to interact and grow into a confident rider. This camp is a great filter into our regularly scheduled lesson program, and will prepare any student for a great future.
• Classroom experience- Learn the ins and outs of equine science with hands on activities
• Basics of riding- Students will ride for over an hour each day in small groups. Students will learn to stop, back, turn, walk, and trot with control and balance.
• Basics of care- Students will learn the proper way groom, catch, lead, saddle, and maneuver around the horse safely
• Make new friends- At Foust Equine we focus on leadership development and encouragement through games and activities in a group
• Make memories- Make strong connections with friends and horses here at Foust Equine. We promise to leave you wanting more!
